Deaf Children's Society of BC - Spring '11 Sign Language Course DCS and Burnaby School district 41 are offering American Sign Language Beginner #1 starting Tuesday, April 5th for 10 sessions. This course is intended for the general public who wish to develop sign language skills to communicate with children who require visual support for language development. The ASL Beginner #1 course is for those who have little or no knowledge of sign language and is based on the ASL Basic Vocabulary for Parent and Child book which can be purchased in class ($25.00).
